NES

Here in Brazil most people know the NES only through the so called "Famiclones", exact copies of the Famicom but with different layouts, the most famous being the "PolyStation". Very few people who really dig into it knows about the original consoles.
That's because the NES was only released here in 1993 along with the SNES, so both came late, that was maybe because Nintendo only then started caring about us, I don't know.
So because of that, everybody bought the SNES fot being the superior version and the NES sales were eventually cancelled. All that is left is the piracy that comes from China, the "Famiclones".
That's basically the only way for us to play NES other than through emulators, so I can sadly say that I never touched a real NES.
